AIPAC Policy Conference
Join Rabbi Menachem Weiss & fellow members of Nessah Synagogue in Washington, D.C., this March.

America and Israel are better together and so are we.

The AIPAC Policy Conference offers pro-Israel citizen activists the opportunity to lobby their members of Congress on Capitol Hill about issues affecting the United States and Israel. Participants hear from heads of state and choose from dozens of workshops about the most pressing issues of the day.

Taught under the supervision of our very own Chazan Eitan Aharon.

Hebrew Class for Women
From 10:30-11:30 am, in the Conference Room with Mrs. Sigalit Amiri.

A Path of Freedom
This class will be held every two weeks on Mondays, except Holidays from 7:15 - 8:30 P.M.

Taught in Farsi, this class is free.

Psychology Walk-In Clinic
10:00 AM -12:00 PM in the conference room
Private and confidential therapy sessions for adults, children & families struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, relationship problems, parenting or any other issues. Available in Farsi, Hebrew or English. $10.00 donation per half hour session. Sessions are with our professional interns who are supervised by Dr. Dorit Halavy Miller & Dr. Farnaz Halavy Galdjie, Program Directors.
No appointment necessary --walk in welcome.

From February 2, 2012 to June 7, 2012

10:30am to 11:30am – MOMMY AND ME
This class is for children, newborn to 3-years-old and their parents. Class will include music, movement, play, and discussion. Topics include: child development, parenting issues, and raising a child in a dual-culture.

10:30am to 11:30am – STRESS MANAGEMENT
This class will focus on ways to reduce and manage stress through the use of movement, meditation, guided imagery, positive affirmations, and basic YOGA techniques.

11:45am to 12:45pm – DISCUSSION GROUP: TOPICS OF INTEREST
Each week of this class a topic of interest, book, or current event will be introduced and the group will have a chance to discuss.

1:00pm – 2:00pm – THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING
Topics discussed will include: shifting perspectives, overcoming negative thoughts, finding our way to happiness, and setting appropriate goals and boundaries.

The Code with Yedidia Shofet
7:30 - 8:15 PM in the Conference Room

Learn intricacies and great analytical works of the Code of the Jewish Law / The Shulchan Aruch. Challenge yourself with many thoughts and practical matters to ponder. Explore the hot current topics that everyone has an opinion on and explore the final resolution of our sages.
