Selichot Services 

 

Dear Members and Friends:

We are very pleased to announce our Selichot Services in-person.

In order to be able to attend, you must register in advance.  Please read the statements and protocols listed on this page and click the link at the bottom of the page to register.  Registration is required so that we can set up our space with proper social distancing and to have a record of who was in attendance.

Minyan #1: Mondays through Fridays at 6:00am and Sundays at 6:30am

Minyan #2: Mondays through Fridays at 6:30am and Sundays at 7:30am

Who can attend?

  • Adults and teenagers who are not otherwise at-risk.

Who should not attend?

  • We encourage those over the age of 65 or in a high-risk group (e.g. diabetic, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, etc.) to consult with their physician before attending a Minyan at this time.
  • Anyone who is currently testing positive for COVID-19, has symptoms that could be COVID-19 or who has been in recent contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (within 14 days) will not be able to attend.  COVID-19 symptoms, as described by the CDC, include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
  • Anyone feeling ill for any reason will not be able to attend.

As a condition of attending, you agree to observe the protocols listed below:

  • Register in advance.
  • Wear a facemask, covering your nose and mouth, at all times.
  • Bring your own siddur, chumash, tallit and tefillin.
  • Agree to a temperature check before entering.  Anyone with a temperature will not be allowed to enter.  Additionally, anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness or of COVID-19 will not be allowed to enter.
  • Follow all instructions given by Nessah clergy and employees.
  • Maintain social distancing of 6 feet or more at all times everywhere on Nessah’s Courtyard and in the building.
  • No touching or kissing of Torah and mezuzahs
  • No gathering or socializing at Nessah before or after davening
  • No food or drinks

Additionally, you agree to these statements:

  • I agree that attending minyan at Nessah is my choice. I agree to release Nessah from any and all liability for the unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.
  • I agree to immediately notify Nessah if I test positive for COVID-19.
